Most of the week was spent learning how to home school, getting advice from Bethie, finding books to use for teaching Neriah, etc. etc., but we didn't JUST work! As you can see:
Neriah and Dayton were instant friends. They absolutely had a blast together - well, OK, sometimes they did have to be separated, but for the most part, they got along super well!
At the central park downtown where the Christmas tree is still up, and the platform for special performances is still there, we watched two dancers perform to their heart's content. They attracted an audience by their silliness and I'm sure some of the kids watching wished they could be part of the fun!
After dancing awhile, they decided to ride the little train around the park - 10 pesos for a less-than 10 minute ride, but OH! WHAT FUN!
They took along their cotton candy and Neriah's churros, as well as Dayton's milkshake! My, how "someone" spoils those kids! They won't soon forget that fun evening!
It WAS cool that evening, but NOT cool enough for earmuffs! We saw people all wrapped up in their winter coats, gloves, hats, and then we saw others with sleeveless dresses or T-shirts! Go figure! "Cold" is in the feelings of the wearer, I guess!
