HELLO USA -- GOODBYE KIDS

Yesterday Alan, Beth, Cameron and Dayton headed north for a short home assignment. They called as they were crossing into the U.S. and today my friends the Kendals wrote and said they had spent a little time with them. So, I know they got there safely!

So, where does that leave me? Here at home, alone, in this big house, having to cook (the excellent cook of this house just left!!), having to feed the dog and CLEAN UP AFTER HER!, having to make sure she exercises - and I do too! But we're doing OK, really, we are!! We'll make it. Really! Won't we, Peanut? What??? You're SAD??? But why? I'm here!
